Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Field Based Site Inspector (FBSI) role is a vital part of the property management team and works closely with property managers, administrative assistants and department managers. You are a vital link between property managers and their properties and provide a visible presence across our portfolios. This is an exciting opportunity and is a crucial role for future development of our company. The appointed person will require a wide range of skills and experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To visit sites according to a site visit plan produced by your manager in consultation with the entire property management team.

• You will be provided with a company vehicle that will have our company details displayed.

• You will be provided with company uniform to be worn during working hours.

• You will be required to produce site visit reports using our QUBE Site Inspection Application using a hand held device.

• You will be provided with a mobile telephone and other communication equipment as required.

• You may from time to time be asked to deliver or collect documents or items to and from sites you visit.

• To report and problems or issues, which you think are relevant, to your manager.

• To at all times act as an ambassador for the company and its services.

• To attend monthly property management team meetings.

• To attend monthly review meetings with your manager.



Job Requirements


On Site

• To visit buildings and properties as advised and discussed with your manager.

• To carry out detailed inspections of the sites visited and produce a written or electronic report.

• To provide a strong visible presence whilst on site.

• To report any Health and Safety issues to the property management team.

• To leave confirmation of your visit at each site.

• To inspect and report back to property managers on specific requests for clarification or
investigation.

• To photograph and appropriately document anything which should be investigated further by the property management team.

• Any other duties on and off site as directed by your manager.

Office

• To ensure that all of your site visit reports are delivered to the appropriate property manager.

• To ensure clear lines of communication remain available between you and the property management team.

• Additional office support as requested by your manager.

         
Person Specification:

Essential

• Full Clean UK driving licence

• High level of people skills.

• Confident administrative skills.

• General knowledge of buildings and building maintenance.

• Self-motivated individual.

• The ability to work for long periods without direct supervision.

• Good teamwork Skills

• Excellent Planning and Timekeeping skills

Desirable

• Have worked in similar role
